India’s roads can be deadly—especially during winter when fog reduces visibility drastically. Heavy trucks without reflectors often become invisible hazards, leading to tragic accidents.
To address this, AK Helping Society launched the “Reflective Roads” drive. With help from local authorities and the traffic police, our volunteers installed high-visibility reflectors on over 70 trucks and large vehicles in just one session.
This simple yet powerful act improves nighttime visibility and helps save lives—not only for the drivers of these vehicles but also for fellow commuters.
Our awareness events also engage drivers and the public on topics such as speed limits, helmet use, and the importance of vehicle maintenance. These campaigns have shown measurable impact, including a noticeable decrease in traffic violations following our road safety rallies.
